On Saturday, November 18th, the 28th Annual American Indian Heritage Celebration will be held at the North Carolina Museum of History in Downtown Raleigh. There will be many demonstrations, performances, and presentations highlighting the traditional and contemporary cultural contributions of American Indians in North Carolina. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to honor those who were on this land before, and to celebrate those who are here today. The theme the American Indian Heritage Celebration will forever represent is the visibility of Indigenous people who are still here today.
