We’ve had our kids at TMA for close to 5 years now and we couldn’t ask for a better preschool. Every teacher and staff member is kind, gentle, and encouraging. The kids engage in meaningful work like baking bread, washing their own dishes, and creating art that makes them feel accomplish and makes learning accessible. Triangle Montessori Academy (TMA) has been crucial to the development of our children. We toured many different preschools before choosing TMA because it was important for us to find a place where our children could learn and grow in a nurturing environment. We love that TMA allows our children to be curious and open minded. Giving them the confidence to make decisions and engage in activities they find interesting. The hands on learning, outdoor learning opportunities plus the love and attention they receive at TMA has helped both our children blossom and thrive into happy, healthy, mature explorers that love learning.

There are so many things we love about TMA - from the high quality education to the beauty of the classrooms and playgrounds. One of the best things, however, is the warmth and caring that all the teachers show to the children. The teachers and the administrators at TMA love working with children and are gentle and kind to them. The whole school is set up to be sure that children are treated warmly and with respect. Both of my boys attend TMA. I am thankful for so many things about the school – it’s hard to list them all. First of all, I love the way Montessori fosters independence and embraces the individuality of the child, rather than trying to conform everyone to a single expectation and pace. Secondly, I love the fact that TMA is truly a global community – and that in addition to learning academic skills – my boys are learning patience, kindness, and respect of others, other cultures, and their environment. Thirdly, I love the physical environment of the school – the way the classrooms feel like a home, and the way the huge, shaded yard, and gardens act as an extension of their classroom. I am also thankful for the patience of the teachers, and the way the administration has worked closely with us to help our children thrive in the Montessori environment. I can only hope I will ever feel this way about the future schools of my children. My only regret is not finding it sooner.

We are having a great experience with TMA and the teachers are excellent. This is our son’s first school experience and he was shy at the beginning. The teachers paid close attention to him and helped with the transition. Now he loves going to school and he teaches us what he learns in circle time! We enjoy watching him grow through TMA. He is more independent, organized, and willing to try new things. We love TMA and all the staff, and are so happy about how well our son is doing!

We toured many preschools in the area before choosing Triangle Montessori Academy as a school for our son. What won us over about TMA was the school’s approach to teaching its students about different cultures early on, and the teaching staff’s true commitment to their students. In the years our son attended TMA, he learned how to be independent, self motivated, and interested in the cultures of the world, which is something most preschools do not include in their curriculum. We love TMA, and recommend the school to anyone who looks for a positive, nurturing environment, where students are motivated and taught to be self-sufficient, respectful of themselves and others, and excited about learning.

Our three year old son started at Triangle Montessori Academy, shortly after his third birthday. At the time he started, he was just learning words, and not quite articulate or able to construct sentences. Every teacher at TMA is special and worked diligently to encourage our son in his social and language skills. After only six months, our son made good friends and his social interactions with the teachers and other children enabled him to swiftly grasp key language concepts, and he began to speak in full and complete thoughts. The practical exercises both inside and outside the classroom helped him grow his vocabulary. The TMA facility is first class, with many unique and creative tools, including the special teachers that practice an exquisite and extensive skill set to help children grow. I highly recommend TMA to any parents and their students as our experience has proven that the development of children is their first priority.
